A Yorkie is a Christmas present that keeps on giving all year long. However, bringing a new puppy home during the holiday busy season can cause undue stress on the pup.
In my opinion I feel the well being of the puppy is better off coming home after the holidays when everything has slowed down.
If you want this to be a gift on Christmas day, maybe wrap up a bone w/ a special note saying you are searching for a fur baby just right for her, then continue your search and adopt .
