I am so sorry this happened to you and I am glad it has not hinder you in searching for your puppy.
Take your time and do as much research as you can. Patience is the key here. This dedication by yourself is such a huge payoff in the end.
I agree w/ looking into a rescue. The section here for Rescues on YT was just updated w/ a few Yorkie's who are so adorable needing a warm, devoted home.
