When we were trying to get our cat to drink water the vet suggested boiling chicken in a pot of water and then giving her the liquid. Do not add anything to the pot except the chicken.
We just used the boiled chicken to make chicken salad and stuff after- you could probably feed a little bit of it to the dogs.
She drank a TON of this stuff and she never liked to drink at all.
You might consider asking the vet if this is okay.
