Today he saw the doctor for the results of the needle biopsy. He said the biopsy didn't detect any cancerous cells!!!!! He said that doesn't mean there aren't any there, the needle they use is very fine (20 guage) and may have missed cancerous cells. He is scheduling Bruce for a bronchoscopy to examine the lung and he has scheduled another scan on his lungs in another 2 months.
I am so glad that Bruce opted out of having the surgery to remove the tumor and had the biopsy instead.
I really believe all the prayers helped.
I would like to publicly thank Lisa (Sugarmamma) and Gail (Gemy) for their phone calls. They meant a lot to me.

Oh, such happy news. So glad the biopsy did not detect cancer cells.
Also wanted to add that my DH went through something like that about 14 years ago. He also had a lung biopsy and it came back negative. Turned out to be something totally different. (Not cancer) I know the biopsy is very painful, especially because his lung collapsed, but glad your DH feels fine now.
