It sounds like actinic keratoses to me, but you really should have it checked by a dermatologist. The sooner the better. Melanoma is in most cases considered cured if caught and removed early. Please make sure your derm does and excision, not a scrape biopsy and make sure the slides are read by a dermapathologist. You can find a very active community online here: Mpip.org/bb
