You can google it and get lots of pictures, but they are graphic.
Sudden changes to a present mole (a new one is a sudden change) irregular pattern like jagged edges, one that is partially raised or blistered, and there are specific colors like a black spot in the center, a red halo around them, oozing, or bleeding are all reasons to see a dermatologist.
