I agree, you should have it checked. I have had about 15 moles removed, and still have about 7-10 more that need to come off. I have one that is visible on my shoulder when I wear a tank top. I get a lot of comments on how bad it looks. Strangely enough, that is not one that my dermatologist is concerned about. Go figure. Some of mine do get dry in the winter time and itch a little, but if it is a new one, you should have it looked at. I have also been told to take pictures of them on a regular basis and check for changes because they are on my back where I can't see them. My dermatologist tells me I am a high risk skin cancer candidate, but I have always been careful about over exposure to the sun.
