A little background:
Kaji started dribbling urine again, like he did 4 months ago. I took him in to the vets, they ruled out UTI. Dr says Kaji has crystals in his urine again, but a different type. His urine is also concentrated, which means my little guy isn't drinking enough water.
I'm thinking of switching how he gets his water from a bowl to one of those bottle feeders (like this:
PETCO Water Bottles for Small Animals at PETCO) since it's something that was once suggested by a YTer. My only concern with that is that he won't want to drink from it. I like the idea of it as it seems more sanitary than the water bowl. No more wet mustache!
Aside from that, what else can I do to get him to drink more water?
The vet also suggested adding wet food to his meals, or soaking his food. He won't touch soaked kibble, I tried that before.
On a good note, Kaji is finally down to the 7 lb range. His knees don't pop as much as they use to, which I know makes both of us really happy!
