What would be the best dog food for a Yorkie with a sensitive stomach? My dog has always eaten Lamb and Rice semi-moist packets..generic brand from the market. The more I read here, the more I realize it can't be all that nutricious or good for him. A while back he had a bout with Pancreatitis and then a month or so ago we had the scare of him eating quite a large amount of chocolate..since that fiasco he does this little reflux thing off and on. He has really become quite the Goat Boy.. will eat anything that looks inviting or even shiny for that matter. Reading up on the whole after affects on the chocolate I found that it can really mess up the digestion system. Are there special dog foods for baby's with tender tummies? Where can I find these? When he had the Pancreatitis the vet gave him a few cans of the ID dog food and he loved it. Can he live on this stuff or is it just a temp thing. Gizmo was a gift and no nothing about his breeder or his life before us. Growing up I never had a dog that was bought, just mix breeds to love.. always thought dog food was dog food. I'm learning now. He is around 3 or 4 and weighs 12 pounds. He eats normally and his energy is fine. Just wondering what food would be best for him. Any ideas would be appreciated.
