I had my girls spayed at the same time and they had total opposite reactions to the anesthesia and pain meds. My Maddie acted very similar to your Maddy
. She was lifeless for the first 2-3 days. She only picked at her food and didn't drink nearly as much water as I thought she should have
. I followed the post-op instructions to a T and she recovered completely in no time.
Cooper, on the other had, thinks she took a weird nap in a strange place and woke up with a tatoo in a strange place.
She was her old self on the ride home.
