When Baxter was a puppy, he rubbed against the side of the sofa so much he broke all the hair down his spine off so short it stuck up! I was feeding him Science Diet then, since that is what the vet pushes.
The vet recommended fish oil, and it helped immediately. I would also recommend you bath your baby bi-weekly in the winter months, or only on an "as needed" basis. I also bathed Baxter every week, and was told this is not good...my 3 get bathed bi-weekly, but sometimes it can go 2 1/2 weeks in the winter. I freshen them up every few days with detangler spray & wipe down paws, bellies and private areas with baby wipes. |
