Her picture is beautiful. She is a doll. You need to remember that she is three yrs old and not so much a puppy. She has lived some sort of life and/or lives before you that she may need to really spend a lot of time adjusting from before she wants to play, if she ever really does. She may just want to be a lapdog. I hope your daughter is not going to be too disappointed it she doesn't turn out playful. The rescues I have, well Brie, still will not touch a toy or treat. She does try to run with the pack. Bridget will take a crumb of toast from me, but that is it. She still gloms onto me, follows me and never leaves me. She will not play or pick up toys. It's been what, going on three months, they are 6yrs old and I wouldn't be surprised if they never ""play"". But they are learning how to love and trust. Maybe your daughter will be content with a snugglebug.
