My Yorkie Turbie loves my boyfriend, Tim, which is a good sign

But every time we hug or anything like this, she starts growling/barking at us. If I pick her up and hold her while we hug, shes fine. All I can think is that she is jealous? Or is she protective? Its pretty funny though.

Anyone elses Yorkie do this?
