I don't have a lot of advice, but think of how tired you'd be if you had to play with him all of that time!
Puppies have endless energy. What I could suggest is for you to get on the floor and play with him. Give him belly rubs if he'll be still long enough. Whenever his behavior becomes too rough, stop him and tell him no or say ouch very loud. He won't get it for awhile, but eventually he will understand.
