Congradulations on your new puppy. He is going to be very much like a human baby right now. Be sure that you keep him in a carrier or tote when yoiu take him to the vet. Or do not stay in the waiting area with all the other "sick" animals. Try not to expose him to any other dogs because he is so young and vulnerable. He has to always be kept warm too. A heating pad will work well for him. you are his new mom so he will cling to you for bonding and all his needs met.
Be sure to talk to the vet tommorrow and ask any questions or concerns you have . Bring up his age too. Watch out for hypoglciemia . He has to eat often to keep his blood sugar up. Supplement with Nutrical if you need to. At his age he is going to need round the clock care.
