Thank you all so much for your kind words. I have cried more tears than I thought possible and I miss her more than any words can explain. I have a new puppy, her brother, that I got so that she would have a friend. It is hard to see him because he is so much like her, but at the same time he is a comfort to me. Please say a prayer for me and my precious girl - she has angel wings now, I know it.

When we lost our little girl, Ashley, we received a card from our veterinarian with notes from the wonderful people who work there. When my husband saw that one of the vet techs had written, "Ashley has wings," it really brought a smile to his face, as did mine. It is such a nice way to think of her. This special vet tech had always been wonderful with Ashley, and when I brought her there after she passed away in my arms at home, she was the person who lovingly took Ashley from me. I noticed for the first time that she had small angel wings tattoed on her wrist. I hope you can find comfort with the thought of Lola this way and with your puppy. As difficult as it is to bear, it will be hard for you not to smile from his antics and love. You and your little angel will be in my thoughts and prayers.
