I will never forget how I felt when I realized that my little 2.2 lb Daisy with her two grade 4 luxating patells, belly of worms, kennel cough, heart murmur, allergies, Irritable bowel, and liver shunting had a long journey on that truck all the way from Missouri to Rhode Island. Looking at that puppy in her cage all fluffed up with a raggedy unhealthy coat and smelling like some cheap papaya shampoo with her big belly of worms that was distended was enough to make me want to throw up on the spot. If I was not sure she would be killed I would have turned and walked away.
I'm so sorry again that you and your girls went through this. Our Daisy was very lucky to make it and for 10 years she has had many many problems. I hope you can heal your heart, know that you are better for having learned this although it is very painful, and find a nice caring breeder who will provide a healthy puppy. Be very careful who you buy from in the future. Again, I'm sorry for your loss and especially for your girls as they must be so sad. |
I have heard Daisy's story in the past but it still breaks my heart. She was so very lucky to have found you and survived unlike this poor little one. I also took a look at her link as well as Googled her property address and you can see all of the outbuildings in the background undoubtedly full of sick puppies.

I now have a face to go along with all the heartache this woman has caused to so many. Karma is a b*tch!
