My dogs get a little pumpkin with each meals. It keeps their bowels regular and they seem to really like it. Just make sure to get the PLAIN pumpkin and not the pie filling, which has sugar and other stuff in it they don't need. You can also steam pumpkin or other kinds of squash to keep things interesting.
