I just wanted to say that I am so sorry to hear this. Many prayers and thoughts your way. I remember when we had to put our dog to sleep, due to mouth cancer. It too was sudden, dx was given to hubby and she was put to sleep at that point because she had been heavily sedated to look at her mouth. I never go to say goodbye. Again, so sorry.
