Sounds like allergies. I would talk to your vet immediately. For many dogs, allergies can be treated easily with medication. My little guy has severe allergies, but one part of his treatment is a half tablet of Zyrtec each evening (he also gets allergy shots and Atopica, a pretty strong allergy medication). I know that for many dogs, over-the-counter human medications like Zyrtec or Claritin can provide relief. But again, talk with your vet.
