Thank you so much for the replies...talked to the Dr and since we thought he had eaten so little, we decided to "watch and wait"...so far, so good. I think the time we can initially quit worrying (if there is such a thing!) is 4-5 hrs after he ate the cookies...we are almost there. I appreciate the advice and will put it on my "doggy" board in the kitchen...holidays are so tough because not only do you have extra treats in the house, but things get left down accidentally by people that are not used to having to be careful around these babies!
