That is very sad. THe best advice I have for someone who can't afford a needed veterinary procedure is to find a way to pay for it. Either apply for care credit, borrow from family or friends, or put it on a credit card. If none of those options work, I would suggest that the person contact a rescue organization who can take care of the dog and provide for its care. $2,000 for an endoscopy seems very expensive to me, it sounds like something more is involved. Very sad.
