Maximo was still with his breeder from the age of 8 weeks to 13 weeks, and if I recall correctly from the pictures and weight indicated on them, he grew at the same rate as your pup.
The best way to tell if your pup is proper weight is to feel the rib cage. You should be able to feel ribs without squeezing too much.
