I feed Jackson, who is 15lbs, 1/2 cup per day of Orijen kibble. So 1/4 cup in the AM and 1/4 cup in the PM. He gets a bit of wet food mixed in each meal (maybe a spoonful). Sometimes I will replace his breakfast meal with pre-made raw and he gets 3 Primal nuggets and then 1/4 cup kibble w/ wet for dinner.

I find the bags tend to way over exaggerate the amounts needed, but it all depends on your dogs activity level and body type. Jackson is very very active and lean and muscular, but that's really all the food he needs. I leave out kibble for him all day and occasionally he will go snack on it, but even when he was totally free-fed, he self regulated at 1/2 cup per day or under.
