I'm so sorry you and Lexi have to go through this. Lexi will be fine from the anesthesia if you have a good vet and you have her blood checked.prior to the surgery. I never got used to my girls having anesthesia, even though they did fine each year that they had their dentals done. Ashley needed to have three surgical procedures after the age of ten, even though my vet wouldn't have put her through it due to an enlarged heart unless absolutely necessary. Her last one was when she was sixteen, and she did great. You and Lexi will be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you have a happy holiday and new year filled with many magical moments and blessings, and I wish you the best of health to you and the rest of your loved ones.
