Hi,
I'm new here on YorkieTalk an love my Caleb whom I adopted from a shelter 4 years ago. He will be 6 in March and is so loyal and what a joy for me. He's a larger Yorkie, 15 lbs and a blonde silky.

Last winter I noticed "blackheads" on his back and took him to my vet who gave me shampoos, shots, antibiotics, etc. Had blood work on him as well and all tests came out "normal". However, the blackheads have multiplied up his spine and now seem to be appearing on his head! I have tried everything I know to "clear up" the blackheads and am now afraid my vet doesn't know what he's talking about. Has anyone here in this group heard of such a perplexing skin ailment?
