So how many washable pads does one need? Is one good for an entire day (very absorbent???), thus if one wanted to do laundry every 5 days or so, one should have one per day?? Dumb sounding I know, but if I'm going to switch them to a washable I want to have enough to do it right.
Thanks

get ahold of RDB911, his rock. That is what I use. I have 6 dogs, 4 small ones use the pads. You can order the kind with an odor gard that is reactivated everytime you wash them. They have a vinyl type bottom that is waterproof so the floor is protected. Do not use softener in the laundry and the urine just soaks right in, doesn't sit on top. I pick up the feces and flush them and then the pads last through the day without odor. I have two in different places. If I used just one, I'd have to change it halfway through the day. I fold it in quarters and toss it in its own hamper. Still no odor. I have 2 dozen. I do laundry once per week. Still no odor. Launder in regular detergent and bleach. That's it. I cannot tell you how many washes these have gone through but they are as good as the day I bought them and I've had them for a very very very long time. Definitely better than disposable, plus they can't be shredded or moved around....
