I was leaving WalMart today and saw a sign, "Yorkie puppies AKC $450". I know better than to buy this way but curiosity got the better of me so we drove over to see what the lady had. She was sitting with the back of her truck opened up and a kennel beside her. She asked me if I was looking for a "Christmas puppy"? I asked her what she had and then she pulled back a blanket to reveal two tiny puppies. Mind you that it is snowing a little and cold! I said WOW they are small, how old are they? "Just now five week" and adds "but don't worry, the vet said it would be ok. They are eating food you wet with warm water.'" Really- what vet are you using? I said "I would never buy a puppy that young!" I was good and didn't slap her with Christmas cheer and we drove away. Sadly I know someone will buy them if they don't freeze to death first. I just don't understand how people can be that way. Hope everyone here has a Merry Christmas!
