Today I woke up to find Lily limp..not moving. She was still conscious but she just couldn't move. So I immediately called my mom and we took her to our vet. On the way there she pooped on herself..it was very runny still and almost black. And she had seizures. When we got to the vet they took her in right away.. turns out she has Giardia, the nasty parasite. She has had it for awhile the Doctor says. It was easily detectable in her feces and is very bad. And she is hypoglycemic. She still isn't moving..just laying there with her little eyes open. He gives her some honey and places her on a heating pad because her body temperature is low..she perks up a tiny bit. He tells me that I can either take her home and treat her, with a lower chance of her living or keep her at the Vet on IV's and treatments. I chose to keep her there. He gives me a 50/50 chance of her living..he'll call when he knows something more.
I am so sad right now.
I don't know what to do.
