I have a friend, w/a 3 year old yorkie, that's been pampered all her life, spayed, never had puppies, and doesn't seem that excited about playing...It may be that your girl is just on the mellow side...I'm sure her personality is going to bloom, as she learns to trust you, and see a different world...She may just end up being a really affectionate lap dog...Count your blessings, on the no barking!!!
