I know that most of you have been through this already but it was a first for me. Poor baby went in at 7:30 AM and I picked her up at 5:30 PM. When I got to the vets she was so wiped and wild eyed it broke my heart. I was thinking maybe they gave her too much or something. I got her home and wrapped her up and slept with her all night on the sofa, she rarely moved. Today she's so much better and just pooped a little while ago. She's almost back to normal and hard to keep her down. I hope she dosen't strain anything...

The wild eyed was, probably, a narcotic pan reliever...My 2nd female did great w/it, but my first was restless, and told me she would rather have just said no...sounds like your little girl is doing really well...I know how you feel, it broke my heart to see my little girls go through the spay process, but it's better, for the girls, in the long run...I'm so glad she pooped, already...Sounds like things are moving right along...I'd just watch she doesn't jump up and down to the couch for at least 72 hrs...
