I set my x-pen up when the babies were young in a retangular shape. Potty pads at one end bedding at the other and food in the middle. I now have add 4 xtra panels and put it around the room they stay in when I am gone since they like to chew on the coner of walls. My babies bedding I buy either at 2nd hand stores for babies or yard sales. I have found some nice blankets very cheap and in excellent condition. The baby mattress pad protector works real good for potty pad or floor protector.
