Default I need your advice

I posted earlier that I was worried that my little guy might need bladder stone surgery...They did an ultrasound and no stones were found...a real answer to prayer!
He seems to be developing artheritis. Is stiff and limps after laying for a long time. Seems to be happening more often now that the weather is cold. It breaks my heart to see him limp. He usually gets better after a few minutes of walking around. He is hyper and "crazy". However, he is already on 3 types of medication to prevent the bladder stones. He also has a history of pancreatitis and has had some "reactions" to medications in the past. I am really afraid to put him on another medication (to treat the artheritis) I am so afraid of upsetting his system and doing anything to bring on another round of pancreatits or doing anything to make the bladder stone problem worse. It took the vet many trials and errors to come up with the right "balance" for him. I spoke to the vet briefly and he said the treatment would involve injections. Am I wrong for not pursuing artheritis medication? I just don't want to do anything to hurt him or cause pain.
Thanks
