This fall Buster had jumped down and jammed one of his front legs. He would lift it and hold it out. I found out he has arthritis in his front legs. I also had noticed that he would yelp and lift his back leg and I found out that he also has LP in his back legs. He had one knee operated on this October and he has fully recovered now. I would definitely take him to a vet and have it checked out. That way you will know if it is a sprain where you only have to monitor their activity or if it is something more serious. I was lucky that I got Pet Plan insurance before I found out about Buster's legs. They did not exclude his Luxating Patella as some of the others do so it really helped with the surgical bills. Good luck with Nyke. |
