That is submissive urination. It usually passes before his present age, but I would suggest your husband not greet him immediately when he comes in. Wait a few minutes, until he calms down. Never, ever scold him for doing this. It will only make a submissive puppy worse. If he has been strongly disciplined by your husband, then that could be a contributing factor. If not, then it is simply submissive urination that you are dealing with. I would suggest using belly bands when your husband is around and I expect he will outgrow it. Submissive puppies have sensitive little personalities and do take a gentle hand to help them build confidence. They need someone to help them build confidence in themselves, so they aren't fearful.
