Good morning...

Brodie got sick 4 times last night before we went to bed. He emptied his little belly of everything he had eaten 5 hours prior. I think the clavamox is upsetting his already upset belly. I thought for sure he was going to keep the food down. This morning he got out of bed and made the largest poop I've ever seen come out of him. Sorry for these details - it started out blackish and hard then got increasingly softer and light brown. It was probably 6" long!! He continues to drink and will take small treats but is not interested in his dog food still.
Brodie's temperature is 99.7F. This is within the normal range for him. He does not take Lactulose as his symptoms are mostly under control and the vets at Cornell decided to try to not add chemicals to his body unless we need to. I just make sure he drinks plenty and trick him into drinking more by further watering down his food. He is still drinking tons of water so I am not concerned about dehydration. His gums are light pink and his nose is wet. He is still making a whistling whining sound through his nose as he is congested pretty bad - it is a clear mucous that you can see inside his nostril.
I'm going to call the vet again today to see what I can do.
