It's hard for me to tell with my bad eyesight but doesn't this brush have the ball tips on the pins? If so, I would find another brush without those ball tips, as they will damage hair.

You might want to try this brush if you don't want to use a comb. I found this earlier when I was looking for the small size wooden pin brush. This mini size might be good for the facial hair, if you want to use a brush.
