She has never been crated before. She does have a doggy play pen but I use it for time outs. I do have a large bathroom that she can be put in, but I have to say I'll be worried about her in there since she is not use to being confined in a closed room. I don't want to make her have anxiety issues. Her tantrums are because she is a bit spoiled and I don't know how that happened |
Ok, first if you're just spraying the NM then it will still smell. When you see the pee spot get a towel and step on it to soak up all the pee, then saturate the same exact spot and a litte around it with NM. wait a few minutes or so and put the same towel(clean part) down again and step on it again to soak up the NM. The "little grean machine" scrubs it for you.
I would start putting her in the bathroom and gate it off so the door can be left open. When you're not home. Giving them free rein of the house is dangerous because they could chew cords and get shocked, eat plants or sometging else and choke.
Could I ask why you give her "time outs?"
Sorry,

I know it seems like our babies would be happier to have the whole house, but it's really safer for them to be confined when we can't supervise them.
Good luck. Hope this helped
