I think this thread was started before the other thread was closed and before this member was suspended. If you track the history -- the member who was subject of this thread instigated an attack against this entire site and particular members, saying there was basically no relevant information here and worse, much worse. This thread merely started out to point out the origins of this person who was currently debunking all experience and knowledge at this site. You attack an entire site, and I think you open yourself to a little extra scrutiny.

I think justice is meted out pretty evenly on this site. If anyone attacks directly with personal insults or abusive language their posts are deleted and they are warned, suspended, or banned depending on severity of the breech. We do have some leeway in expressing personal beliefs and opinions. That has gone for all sides. There are certainly posts or threads I would personally like to see deleted, but if they do not actually break the rules, then they stay. It keeps the forum open and honest that way. I am sure you and maybe the person named here in the thread title would like it to go away -- but actual TOS are not broken -- no name calling, personal insults, abusive language or lies have been used. They pretty much opened the can of worms with the posts they made. You can't take this one thread out of context -- it did not materialize from thin air. Sometimes we bring things on ourselves.

I just read your other post and I am not really seeing a "staggering number of people" fleeing this site, complaining, or dissatisfied. In fact, I hardly ever see anyone that upset with the site except for breeders that don't follow what is becoming a generally accepted code of ethics here -- one long ago established by the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America (YTCA) and sometimes a newbie or two who has not really gotten to know the bigger picture.

I have belonged to several online groups. There are always a few who leave, some disgruntled at changes, some for personal feuds with other members, and some who just change interests. There is a normal ebb and flow. I have taken a couple of breaks away from YT and I can assure you neither of them had anything to do with the way the site is run. I find it the best run site I have ever been a member of!!! Admin dispenses justice fairly and evenly and does not join in on debates or disagreements. Either side is free to say what they want as long as they don't cross the lines. You break the rules and you get a suspension or banning no matter who you are.

It is easy to say things are not fair, or claim favoritism when things do not go your way or the way of your compadres. But I think a person would be hard pressed to find that here. It is as even and fair a site as I have ever seen. If it seems "the other side" is coming out ahead, perhaps it is because they are following the rules more carefully. Just a thought. I have had to delete more than one of my posts before I hit that "submit" button. I have asked a post be deleted when I thought I did not use good judgement. We all get a fire built up some days, the key is to not let it get out of hand.

I really believe most of what has transpired in the last few days has more to do with a small group being "outed" for speaking ill of Yorkietalk and specific members on another internet site. Since that day, it seems almost any thread can become an instant powder keg. Isn't it better to just let it calm down and move on? To bring up these differences day after day after day..... seems so very counterproductive to me. In the spirit of the season, could there not be an end to this? There was no need to ressurect this thread. Time to move onward and upward. A new beginning would be nice!
