Good advice. I might start out with pads all over the bottom of the X-pen. That is what I did. Then little by little take them away til there is only one left. I love those pad holders but my stubborn Ben will not use a pad in the holder! I don't get it. I even put a used pad in there thinking he would get the idea and maybe think he had already used it once, but no -- not going to do it. So, I had to go back to putting the pad on the floor. With you starting to use the pad holder early, it will probably not be a problem. I bought those same little fabric dog house/beds for mine for Christmas -- hope they all (yours & mine) like them!

Your set-up is so cute and sure shows your enthusiasm and love for your new puppy. I wish you both the best as you add him to your family. Nothing like a Yorkie pup!
