I would tend to agree. It's a very reliable service with no hidden fees. Sign up for a google voice account and pick your number. You can even use words to pick a number. You can type in "kaji" or "yorkie" or something and see if they have it. Let's see how far you get, and I'll help you along the way with setting it up. It's simple once you get used to it.
It's a private phone number with free voicemail.
