Are you subscribed to it? If so, you can unsubscribe, but I think it may still come up, if you are just clicking "new posts". You can ignore it by clicking on User CP, and it will just list threads you are subscribed to. You can also click on "Unanswered threads", and you will be given a list of threads. in which, no one has replied.
