 when to take my puppy home
Sorry for all the questions guys, but I'm not going to have internet access for a couple weeks after Sunday morning. Okay so my new puppy is at the breeder's still. I will be at my parents house for the next two weeks, which is very close to where the puppy is. Then I'll be moving to me and my puppy's new home! I was planning originally to get the puppy right before I moved so the one place she'd be after her breeders would be her new home. But now I'm thinking that when I move I'm going to be out of the house for a few hours at a time for classes (i come home in between when I can and at lunch), but I don't want her to be scared and alone. Would it be better to take her to my parents house for awhile where I can be with her all day long so she can feel safer and bond with me? Or would the change of environments stress her more? When my dad saw her yesterday they brought her into their house for the first time and she was so scared she couldn't stop shaking! |
