I have had Reese on Eukanuba optimum weight control, which is vet prescribed. It did absolutely nothing for her weight. I was also told by many laypeople that Eukanuba is by far the best food for a dog.
My vet is monitoring her, but often will just say that she is getting enough food, according to her weight and appearance. That does not help us. She seems to be starving.
They keep telling me that more exercise is necessary. That's great, talk Reese into that. I can't even follow that basic rule, let alone Reese doing it. Thank you for your response. As in humans, exercise is the key to weight loss, but I was hoping that a particular food would also help.
