Well Friday I went to check my bank account and I was minus $450, so of course, I'm really confused. There was a check image, so I opened it and looked at it. Someone wrote a check out to my name, forged my signature on the back along with my account number and cashed that check. The check bounced. I had to go in the bank, open a fraud claim, and change all my account numbers. Just a word of warning: be careful where you are when you check your bank account information... if you are on a public network, there are some that can find out what you were looking at. I think that is how someone got my account number. I think I must have looked at my account on my college's public network.
