Actually diapers don't bother them a bit. I put diapers on mine when we go to someone's house. They are pad trained and at other's houses they assume that all throw rugs are pads. It saves embarrassment. They squat just like normal, they have no idea they are going in a diaper. I use pampers or huggies. When we are on a long car ride (10-12hrs) they don't go at all, they hold it until we get home. I take off the diaper and they head for the pad. But, seriously, they don't bite at them or try to remove them. Just make sure they are big enough for comfort and if necessary use doggie panties over them to help keep them from sliding off. It will save you a whole lot of stress during your visit. This is for the yorkie girls only. Bear and Baxter are strictly potty outdoor boys and that is what they do on visits as well, no diapers for them, ever. JMHO, everyone has to decide what is best for them and their furkids.
