he probably isn't going to feel like doing anything but sleep....I would play it by ear and give him his usual...you dont' want to give him something different and it upset his stomach. He will eat if he feels up to it. When you bring him home he will be groggy and want to sleep. Let him. He will also try licking the incision...try to keep him from doing this or from jumping off furniture. The vet will give you a set of rules for him.
