Thanks for the well wishes!

Our vet told us that the parvo virus can live in the soil for 10 years or more. I'm beginning to get concerned that maybe the virus was in the soil here before we bought the house. Maybe the previous owner didn't know....or maybe he didn't disclose it. Either way, with 2 out of 3 puppies having contracted the disease, we'll certainly disclose it if anyone ever buys our house. I can't even imagine putting someone else through the worries we've endured over the past year.

We try to keep things meticulously clean inside the house...bleaching their toys and crates and stuff....but, if it's in the soil? We thought that since Milli didn't get the disease (her puppy series wasn't completely done when we brought her home) that we'd kept things clean enough and might not need to worry about the virus so much. Sadly enough, we were wrong. And sweet little Cooper is the one suffering for our mistakes. Breaks my heart.
