We replaced our banister in our home many years ago and had additional posts so that they were placed closer together. Still, we worried about our girls falling through. We had pieces of plexiglass made that we placed along the posts of the banister. It gave us much more peace of mind. I still had to watch my little one a lot around the stairs. Gracie would "fly" up the stairs if I let her. She also liked to steal all the toys from her sisters and brought them all downstairs. They were small stuffed animals, but I still worried about her falling with them in her mouth. Gracie was small, but it had no effect on how much spunk she had. I always worried about all of my babies, but Gracie needed extra protection and care. |
