I am so glad your baby is ok.
I had a shih tuz pup who climbed the stairs to our second floor and found the opening through the bed room to an outside balcony. I just took my eyes off her and never thought she was big enough to climb the stairs. She saw my husband and jumped off (she was tiny and fit through the rails) and landed on the driveway. My husband started yelling and I could hear her crying.. we drove to the emergency vet faster than I thought possible. She was ok -- I was so thankful - but I felt so guilty!! She passed a few months latter from kidney failure not related to the accident but a birth defect. This has been about 3 years and I still feel sad, I waited 2 years until I adopted my remy
